As you have already understood, the business environment has changed significantly in recent years due to soaring oil prices and other factors, and the cost of parts, sub-materials, and logistics for our products has also risen. In addition, a significant increase in the cost of electricity in Taiwan, where our production plant is located, has been added to the price of electricity since July of this year.
The business profitability of our touch sensor products has deteriorated significantly beyond our expectations.
We have taken all possible rationalization and cost reduction measures, but the situation is so severe that it is impossible for us to cope with the situation by our own efforts.
Under the current business conditions, we have no choice but to say that it is difficult for us to continue to provide a stable supply of products.
