BLA1HD21 is an actuator (servo module) designed for ailerons on small fixed-wing UAVs and for small robotic applications. A brushless motor is used to enhance durability, and support for Futaba's proprietary S.BUS system provides a high level of convenience.

Control and Communication Standards
To support connection with Futaba RC receivers and various other controllers, the following communication standards are supported:
• PWM: PWM signals used in conventional hobby RC servos
• S.BUS: Futaba’s proprietary serial
communication protocol for hobby RC servos
Please note that these communication methods cannot be used simultaneously.
