Ceramic coating is formed with hardly having heat effect on heat-treated base. Ultra low friction is realized by impregnating minimal air hole with Teflon, in addition strong ceramic coating protects Teflon inferior in abrasion resistance. Abrasion resistance increased by ultra low friction leads to superior performance of slide even under excessive eccentric load. In addition, lubricant isn't needed for long time.
(Caution) We recommend applying lubricant in thin layer on sliding surface when first operation and reoperation without lubricant.

This product is coated by Ceramic Kanigen in which submicron ceramic particle (SiC) is uniformly dispersed and educed in the electroless nickel plating film with excellent corrosion resistance. The film has excellent abrasion resistance and sliding performance due to the hardness of 1100HV or more comparable to cemented carbide. Therefore high precision is maintained even under severe conditions of high-speed press processing.

Assembly accuracy of guide posts

Because press fit length is reduced equal to the thickness of shoulder in the case of shoulder type, squareness after assembled and rigidity against lateral load becomes worse when attached plate is thinner. In the case of straight type guide post, since the end face of press fit side has been finished at right angle to guide face, end face closely contacts with plate and squareness after assembled is easily achieved.
In addition, mounting in weak injection is recommended in order to stand guide post at right angle. Straight type has longer press fit area than shoulder type, and the rigidity against lateral load can be also secured due to the synergistic effect of tension by fixing bolt.
