More thin, light, and space-saving Ultra-thin film OLED
In 2012, by changing the OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) substrate from glass to film, we developed an ultra-thin and ultra-light film OLED with a thickness of approximately 0.15mm and a weight of less than 0.5g.
The new OLED is even thinner, lighter, and more space-saving, contributing to customers' ideal designs.
This OLED can be bent*1 and lit, making it ideal for cylindrical and other curved housings.
Also, unlike glass, this display is safe and will not break even if dropped or subjected to other forces.
In 2015, it won the Monozukuri Award*2 at the 58th Jyudai New Product Awards, and was commended as an outstanding product.

Circular and odd-shaped OLEDs that fit the customer's housing.
When a square display is placed in a circular housing, there is always dead space.
However, this dead space can be minimized by using a circular OLED or cutting the corners.
We can propose the most suitable OLED shape for the customer's housing.

There are many suppliers and parts, which require man-hours and costs for procurement, quality control, and manufacturing.
We solve such problems for our customers.
We can assemble touch panels and covers onto OLEDs and produce them as close to the final product.
By consolidating many parts into one, we can significantly reduce manufacturing and management costs.
Resins with excellent optical properties (OCA and OCR) are used for lamination. We can also handle the procurement of touch panels and covers.

Printing with OLED Special light source "OLEPIX"

We manufacture OLEPIX, a printhead that uses OLED as a light source.
OLEPIX has the following advantages over lasers and LEDs, which have been conventionally used as light sources.
Comparison with laser scanner heads
- The OLEPIX light source unit can be downsized due to its simple structure and short optical path length.
- Low heat generation and high speed printing.
- Low power consumption.
- No need to align and adjust the light source.
