Outline

Be able to "see" inside the molds.

Measuring system to raise the quality and lower the cost of injection molding.

The Mold Marshalling system is a measuring system for injection molds.

It uses a sensor inside the mold and specialized amps to outoput a signal and variations in voltage in real time to a computer and measuring equipment to show the resin's behavior (pressure and temperature of resin inside the mold). This dizitized data can be used for a variety of applications, such as automatically sorting defective products, controlling quality, evaluating molds, and of course to optimize mold conditions.

Examples of system

Feture

Low cost

  • It is possible to install a sensor and amp combination at low prices.

Simple

  • No special work needs to be done to existing molds with the ejector pin type sensor. The sensor can be put in position in place of the existing ejector pin.
  • The specialized software provided makes it possible to easily measure resin pressure and temperature in the mold.

*For EPA,EPC,and EPD amps provided with specialized software

Compact

  • The sensors are small so they easily fit inside molds.
  • Amps are small and lightweight with magnets on them so they can be placed anywhere.

Functional

  • Sensor cable extensions are available so measurements can be done from a distance away.(Pressure sensor only)
  • Possible to measure multiple points simultaneously
・EPA Amp:Simultaneous pressure measurement on 8 channels (computer connection type)
    ・EPC Amp:Simultaneous pressure measurement on 4 channels (stand-alone type)
・EPD Amp:Simultaneous measurement of temperature on 2 channels and pressure on 2 channels (hybrid pressure & temperature type)
・EPT Amp:Simultaneous temperature measurement on 4 channels(analog voltage output type)

Variety of functions

  • It is possible to monitor the changes for each molding cycle.
  • It is possible to sort defective products in real time.
  • The waveform data that is saved can be analyzed using commercially available spread-sheet software.
